Reach & Teach is excited to announce the official launch of The FITRAH Framework, an originally developed framework and signature training offering created by Asmaa Albadawi, Founder and Instructional Coach of Reach & Teach.
The FITRAH Framework was first introduced at ISLA’s Research Symposium in April 2026, where it was shared as an Islamic, proactive approach to classroom management. The framework is designed to help schools move beyond isolated, reactive behavior management and toward a more integrated system rooted in the child's fitrah. (FITRAH = Formative, Intentional, Tarbiyah-based, Relational, Assertive, and Holistic.)
The complete training package of 2-3 days is now available for Islamic schools to request. Through this professional development experience, staff are guided through the foundations and practical applications of The FITRAH Framework, including understanding the child’s fitrah, nurturing SEL through a faith-centered lens, preventing behavior challenges before correction is needed, building classroom structure that supports student success, and responding to behavior with guidance and accountability.
As Reach & Teach’s signature training, The FITRAH Framework offers schools a comprehensive, Islamically grounded approach to strengthening classroom culture, supporting teachers, and helping students thrive.
